  • Sustainable Tallahassee's Spring 2019 Adopt-a-Street cleanup

Registration is closed

Thanks to a great response we have reached our total of volunteers needed for this Adopt-a-Street Clean-up.

Join us February 15th at 8:45 am, for a 2-3 mile walk-cleanup for Sustainable Tallahassee’s adopted street.

Sustainable Tallahassee’s adopted street is Bronough Street between Carolina and 7th Avenue.  It’s a major thoroughfare for people driving to work – and we want to keep it clean and beautiful.

Students needing volunteer hours are welcome!

Please register your volunteer participation using the Register button to the left.

We will provide:
     Safety vests
     Pick-up tongs
     Trash bags
     Disposable gloves

Please bring your own water and snack, if desired, and wear close-toed shoes.  Children 14+ are welcome, but must be supervised.

After the cleanup you might enjoy staying to take a tour of the Grove Museum at 11 am or at noon.  (see GroveMuseum.com)  It is an amazing antebellum mansion and story of 19th and 20th century Tallahassee and Florida.
