Champion Trees of Wakulla Springs Field Trip

You’ll tour a section of the park usually inaccessible to the public, with former park ranger and champion tree enthusiast, George Apthorp.  Champion trees are individuals recognized as the largest specimen of a species. Wakulla Springs State Park contain several trees on the American Forests Champion Tree national register.
