NATIVE PLANTS AS FOOD AND MEDICINE – by the Florida State Parks System

This event takes place every Wednesday in May, June, July & August in 2019.

Meet at 9 am (Eastern Time) at the Gator Lake Trail Head for a 1 hour, half-mile hike through the maritime hammock and explore the natural and cultural significance of many native plants.

DIRECTIONS:  Come straight through the gate, make a right at the three-way stop sign, parking area is on left.

Bring water, sunscreen, insect repellant, and closed-toed shoes.

Park entry fee required. Single person in vehicle: $4.  2-8 people in vehicle: $8.
