Today at 10:00 am is the deadline to apply for this 40-hour course that provides instruction on Florida’s natural Freshwater Systems – herbaceous and forested wetlands both temporary and permanent, the plants and animals that depend upon those systems, and the interaction of humans with these wetlands.
The course will be taught by experienced FMNP Lead Instructor Rosalyn Kilcollins, Assistant Instructor Karen Rose, and expert guests. It provides classroom learning, field trips to local ecosystems, interpretive speaking practice, and completion of group projects.
The class takes place on Friday February 22, Friday March 1, Friday March 15, Friday March 29, Friday April 5, Saturday April 27, and Friday May 10.
