International Coastal Clean-up Day at Maclay Gardens State Park

  • September 15, 2018
  • 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park, Lake Hall, Recreation Area, 3540 Thomasville Road, Tallahassee

Come join Straw Free Tally and the Florida Conservation Corps (FLCC) to celebrate International Coastal Clean-up Day at Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park. Volunteers are needed to help clean up Lake Hall.

If you have your own kayak, canoe or other non gas-powered boat we encourage you to bring it, otherwise the park will have some kayaks available. For individuals or groups who do not want to get in a kayak and clean up from inside Lake Hall, we have shoreline trails that can also be cleaned of debris. Please bring a water bottle, hat, bug spray, and close-toed shoes.
