Magnolia Chapter, Florida Native Plant Society, monthly meeting

This month’s program of the Magnolia Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society features Dr. Don Spence.  He’ll be speaking on the topic: Laurel Wilt and its Effect on Native Trees.

Dr. Spence is an Assistant Professor in the Natural Sciences Department at Bethune-Cookman University and has been a Certified Arborist for 12 years. He specializes in tree biology and tree diseases caused by fungal-beetle interactions.

There are two easy and free evening campus parking areas: the garage on Stadium Drive south of the King Building OR turn on Psychology Way from Call Street and go to the far parking lot.  For a map click HERE.  All programs are free and open to the public.
