Collards and Cornbread – Tallahassee Food Network’s monthly gathering

  • September 14, 2017
  • 12:00 PM
  • iGrow "Whatever You Like" South City Urban Farm, 510 E. Orange Ave., Tallahassee

Tallahassee Food Network invites you to attend this month’s Collards and Cornbread gathering and looks forward to your contribution to the conversation!

This month the discussion will focus on the Draft Urban Agriculture Ordinance. You are invited to participate and give your feedback to the proposed City/County ordinance on Urban Farms. This rule will affect everyone who farms in Leon County/City of Tallahassee.

Your comments are important! See a copy of the draft at this link: https://tinyurl.com/FOODRULES17.

Bring your news to share with everyone!
Please bring a dish to share, if you are able.

Collards & Cornbread Gatherings are Tallahassee Food Network’s monthly opportunities to connect, learn from and collaborate with other food movement players in Tallahassee’s area - all of whom are making strides to prevent childhood obesity and grow community-based good food systems.

Participants share and learn stories from the field, projects, programs, dreams, ideas, resource gaps and questions. Part of our mission is to foster relationships and partnerships across race, income and neighborhood so that ideas and projects that we develop can grow the movement across various lines of division.
