September's Green Drinks - by Sustainable Tallahassee

  • September 25, 2017
  • 5:30 PM
  • GrassLands Brewery, 603 West Gaines Street, Tallahassee

 Join Us at Green Drinks!

Have you wondered about the health of your local lakes, streams and rivers and asked what you could do to help protect them?    Charley Schwartz, PE, Senior Design Engineer with Leon County’s Public Works, will give a presentation about the county’s local water quality program including monitoring locations, sampling processes and nifty online summary reports.

The presentation will also cover available tools to report water issues in the community and details on the upcoming, fun-filled, Lake Jackson "On the Water" Clean-up event scheduled for Saturday, September 30th.

Green Drinks gatherings combine
an opportunity for conversation,
meeting others interested in sustainability,
and hearing an interesting speaker
on a sustainability topic.

Where is GrassLands Brewery?

It’s on Gaines Street, in the block just west of Railroad Avenue, across from the Marriott Residence Inn building. Due to area construction, parking is currently limited so we suggest arriving early. Check out the parking garage at the FSU Turnbull Center as parking may be free after 5 pm, and it's just a short walk to Grasslands.
