2017 Beekeeping in the Panhandle Summer Series - Session 3 - is cancelled

MESSAGE from IFAS, due to approaching Hurricane Irma:  

This scheduled beekeeping class at UF/IFAS Extension offices across the Panhandle is CANCELLED as our speaker lives in peninsula Florida and is busy preparing for the storm at work and at home. 

There is a possibility we may reschedule for a later date, and we’ll keep you posted.  Thank you for your interest!!


The UF/IFAS Extension Panhandle Agriculture Team is pleased to offer three intermediate level beekeeping classes. These classes will be offered via interactive web-conferencing and taught by bee experts from the University of Florida.

The Apalachee Bee Keepers Association will also be on-hand at each class to offer advice and will conduct an open-hive demonstration on August 24th.

This beekeeping class includes of a series of three dates:

August 17, 6:30 - 8:00
August 24, 5:45 - 8:00
September 7, 6:30 - 8:00
