Preserving Eden: Clyde Butcher's Florida Photographs

  • April 06, 2017
  • 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM
  • Museum of Florida History, 500 South Bronough Street, Tallahassee

Clyde Butcher will make a presentation about his adventures in photographing Florida's landscapes, trekking across the state and hiking into swamps with his large-format camera. Following his presentation, the artist will be available to sign books.

Often called the Ansel Adams of the southeast, Clyde Butcher has used his art to record the majestic beauty of Florida’s natural environment for more than fifty years. His interpretation of the environment emphasizes its sacred essence and our spiritual connection to the natural world.
