Our primary annual fundraiser is the Trash Dash, a 5K cross country run that is held each year in the fall at the Leon County Cross Country Track at the Apalachee Regional Park. Planning begins months ahead and includes obtaining sponsors, designing a T-shirt, coordinating the actual race, prizes for the winners, and advertising.
We need members for this committee to help coordinate the event and be sure all the activities work like clockwork. If you have racing experience or if you like planning an event, your participation will be invaluable!
