Leon County’s Office of Sustainability is a resource for community residents for topics related to energy conservation, waste reduction and recycling, green building practices and technologies, greenhouse gas emission reduction, and more.  

Habitat ReStores - Home improvement stores that accept small and large donations of new or gently used furniture, appliances, housewares, building materials and more. Proceeds from our local Habitat ReStore sales help Habitat's work in our community and around the world.

Reuse Development Organization (ReDo) – A national program that facilitates in-kind material donations from the donor directly to non-profit reuse centers and other non-profits.  Their goal is to promote reuse as an environmentally sound, socially beneficial and economical means for managing surplus and discarded materials.

Waste Reduction Resource Center – Website for a center that provides technical Pollution Prevention (P2) information and training to industrial service providers in the Southeast.
