Almost anything you do to decrease your consumption of fossil fuels will shrink your carbon footprint and improve the health of our community and planet. Consider driving a more fuel efficient car, setting your thermostat a little higher in summer, a little lower in winter, making your home as energy efficient as possible, and consider using alternative energy sources (solar, wind).

             Perhaps you are unable to significantly reduce your carbon footprint. The reality is that no one can completely eliminate carbon producing activities.   By contributing to the Sustainable Tallahassee Community Carbon Fund you can help fund local carbon reducing projects to offset some or all of the carbon producing activities in your own life.  The suggested contribution is $20 per ton of CO2 that you generate.
