Biomass Gas & Electric - BG&E is an energy company developing gas and electric plants utilizing
renewable and environmentally beneficial gasification processes. They have a contract with the City of Tallahassee to provide biomass generated electricity, pipeline gas and hydrogen to the Florida State University Research Labs.

Energy Integration Group - Energy Integration Group (EIG) is providing solutions to meet the
global demand for alternative energy resources. Currently developing a 40 MW concentrated solar
power (CSP) plant for the City of Tallahassee

City of Tallahassee’s Residential Energy Programs- The City of Tallahassee Utilities has many Energy Smart Plus saving programs designed to help you save energy and money as well protect and improve our environment. 

City of Tallahassee Hydroelectric Power Plant - Located southwest of Tallahassee, the C. H.
Corn Hydroelectric power generating plant is one of only two hydroelectric plants in the state of Florida.
This plant is operated by the City of Tallahassee Electric Utility Services.

EARTHsteps - EarthSTEPS is a local consulting company focused on the integration of energy efficient practices into the business world.

Florida Solar Energy Center - As the state of Florida’s energy research institute, FSEC conducts
research in Building Science, Photovoltaics, Solar Thermal, Hydrogen and Alternative Fuels, Fuel Cells and other advanced energy technologies.
